Like it or not, but life teaches us wearing all sorts of masks depending on the situation. Indifference or joy sometimes turn out to be artificially created emotions, reflected on our faces. This might be one of the reasons we admire children so much. Their emotions are always sincere and real. If a child is sad - he is sad, he is crying, but he doesn’t say “I’m fine, thank you”. If a child is glad about something - it’ll be hard to make him hide it. And if a child has seen something unusual, like a fur tree formed from paper sheets and toys or a beautifully decorated studio - oh, well then you just need to catch up and be fast enough to catch those moments of joy on camera! That is why working with children has its very specific charm. And I love it.
