April 2018, Yerevan, Armenia

Internet, social networks and mass-media put lots of pressure on us. They recommend the food we should eat, the outfits we should wear and the places we should go see. Sexy ladies post amazing pictures from the white sands of the Maldives or next to the Eiffel tower, creating a misconception that THIS is a proper way and place to travel and no other place can be good enough.

As a result, we get plenty of places, that are undervalued by most of the travelers. But once you get there – it is love at first sight.

This is exactly what happened to me in Armenia. Having come back home, I realized that 4 days were too short of a stay for an amazing country like this. The time flew like a tornado, while I was discovering “Hayastan” (this is how armenians love to call their country), bit by bit, layer by layer.

Whatever my glance came upon – architecture, culture, nature, cuisine – everything brought me to an absolute delight. As if Armenia was flirting with my heart, changing weather and showing herself in various moods and colors.

And OH, those people. Incredible, charming, hospitable, kind people – they truly are the national wealth of this land! They hit you right in your soul from the first minute and they stay there! I think, it is because of them, that I want to come back to Armenia again. And this time not for 4 days!

While I am working on the comeback plan – I’d love to share some moment of this trip with you. I tried to capture the spirit of this country, as well as all the mind-blowing emotions, that I experienced every minute of this trip.
