Eden

During the post-production of this photo session I was thinking of speed. Not of the automobile racing speed because of the jacket my daughter is wearing, as you might think. No. I was thinking of the speed of their growing up and of all the important moments we somehow manage to miss. Do you remember the look of your child’s eyes during his/her first steps? Do you remember how he/she was smiling after getting a good grade at school? Has your kid already experienced the first teenage love?They are fast, young and furious. They grow up so fast, that through daily routine we fail to notice how they turn into adults. And here you are, standing and thinking: “Hey, hold on, did I get enough of you growing up?”This might be the reason I take my kids to my photo studio, even when there are loads of other sessions. I am afraid, that while I take pictures of other people’s kids, I could miss the beautiful metamorphoses in mine. So I take one of my kids by the hand and we go to the studio. This time my “victim” was Eden.
