Eliya – Tradition

Recently I felt the importance of a thing called “connection between generations”. Eliya visited my studio. An incredibly beautiful, sparkling girl with gorgeous hair. Looking at her I understood that she could have brought a whole bunch of glamorous, posh outfits and sexy dresses. That is what most girls do, isn’t it? Well, not her. She brought very casual clothes. Except for one dress. That one I could not call casual, no. It was a national costume that belonged to her grandmother. Having put it on, Eliya became more reserved and serious. Call it whatever you want, genetic memory or the call of ancestors. But what I saw - made my heart melt...
