What is your inspiration?
You know, sometimes I come an hour or two before the appointed photo session in the studio to set myself up in the right mood. Sometimes it seems to me that if someone saw what I’m doing at these moments, they’d have called an ambulance for me. It looks too strange.
In fact, inspiration is like lightning that strikes you with all the violent force in a second. And just as in nature, for lightning to appear, a strong electrification between the clouds and the earth is needed – so for the lightning of inspiration, an impulse within the soul is needed. It sometimes arises from a memory that is born, when silk touches your skin. Or from the smell of a candle. Or from the sounds of your favorite music. You never know what will work. Therefore, you try to use all your senses, wander around the studio naked, change into different outfits, touch the fabric, breathe in aromas, sing – in general, it looks extremely crazy and weird from aside.
